Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

Perform general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries
Support month‑end close preparation and related reporting
Prepare and manage business taxes, including property, license, sales, and excise taxes
Assist with state and local tax compliance requirements
Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requested

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Exposure to general ledger accounting or tax‑related work
Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP systems preferred
Basic to intermediate Excel skills

Personality Fit:

Collaborative and comfortable working within a structured accounting team
Curious and open to learning new systems and processes
