Staff Accountant

Overview:

Kadant Johnson is looking to fill the position of Staff Accountant within the Three Rivers location. The ideal candidate should be growth oriented, self-directed, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess a positive approach to their working environment.

Responsibilities:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for payroll, journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and internal/external audits. This position will also provide support for the Order to Cash function. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will regularly prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed.

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have three or more years of experience, with a focus in payroll. Experience in a manufacturing accounting environment is preferred. A bachelor’s degree with a major in business or finance is preferred but not required. A high energy level is essential, as the role involves handling various tasks alongside daily responsibilities. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are crucial for success in this position. Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements is a plus.
