What Youll Be Doing
In this role, youll support core accounting operations with a focus on accounts payable, expense processing, and tax compliance. Youll partner closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process high-volume invoices across inventory, freight, travel, and general expenses
- Manage weekly payment cycles and vendor disbursements
- Review, code, and enter employee expense reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close activities
- Prepare and file recurring sales and business tax returns (monthly/quarterly)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and purchasing teams
- Assist with additional accounting tasks and projects as needed
What Theyre Looking For
- 35 years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in accounts payable
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and invoice processing workflows
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SysPro, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Exposure to payroll, purchasing, or HR processes is a plus
