Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:



  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and supporting schedules

  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

  • Record journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial data accuracy

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Analyze financial results and identify opportunities for process improvements

  • Support audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation

  • Collaborate with operations and other departments to provide financial insight

  • Maintain accurate accounting records while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards


Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

  • 1+ years of accounting experience

  • Understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or accounting software is a plus

  • Self-motivated professional with strong communication and problem-solving abilities
