About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers a great opportunity for an accounting professional or recent graduate to gain exposure to AR, AP, cash applications, reporting, and month-end close within a stable manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Process cash applications, lockbox transactions, wires, and credit card payments
- Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Assist with daily sales and labor reporting
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Learn company systems and gradually take on additional accounting responsibilities
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and reporting requests
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Internship or accounting experience
- Experience with cash applications, AR, or AP
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Macros
- Process improvement or data analysis experience
