The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:
Justrite Safety Group is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting both accounts payable and receivable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do at Justrite:
Maintains and balances general ledger accounts by inputting data and reconciling any variances as well as maintaining work paper schedules and accurate financial information
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Provides accounting support for management by reviewing financial information and providing reports as directed
Coordinates weekly reporting functions with Controller to ensure timely reporting of sales, costs, and projected values for the various entities.
Compiles data on state and local sales tax filling with various taxing entities on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, or annual basis
Assists in month end and year end close processes
Prepares General Ledger entries by maintaining records and files and by reconciling accounts
Accurate function of subledger modules of the ERP system, including accounts receivable and payable, inventory and any other module which feeds into the general ledger
