Staff Accountant

This Accountant position is located in Wethersfield, Connecticut and has responsibility and accountability for performing a variety of professional accounting duties including coordinating vendor/supplier accounts payable, job costing and subcontractor compliance, monitoring project budgets, preparation of financial reports, assistance with contract administration and billing plus various other projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1-5 years of experience with vendor accounts payable functions
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight time constraints
• Advanced computer proficiency
• Experience with construction industry software (e.g., Sage 300, Procore)
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
