In this position...

This position will focus on designing and developing Android applications for our in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) platform, enhancing the performance, reliability, and user experience of our automotive software. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Android application architecture and will thrive in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do...

• Drive the design and development of Android applications and reusable libraries for our in-vehicle infotainment platform.
• Build and maintain app-level integrations with system services and vehicle APIs, consuming AIDL interfaces and Android services exposed by the platform.
• Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and hardware teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions for infotainment features.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot application-level issues, ensuring high efficiency, responsiveness, and user satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices and high-quality standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering app architecture, workflows, and technical specifications.
