ROLE SUMMARY

The Intersect Group is seeking a Staff Assistant I to support Print and Ship operations within a fast paced healthcare services environment. This role is responsible for ensuring documents and materials are accurately printed, organized, packaged, and delivered while maintaining strict compliance with privacy and security requirements.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operational workflows by managing document processing, shipping activities, inventory tracking, and administrative support tasks. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining quality and compliance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Print, organize, and prepare documents for shipment according to established procedures

• Package, label, and prepare outbound materials for timely and accurate delivery

• Maintain daily mailing schedules and ensure tracking information is updated and documented properly

• Operate printers, copiers, scanners, and shipping equipment to support operational needs

• Process incoming mail, electronic files, scanned documents, and file uploads

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of office and shipping supplies as needed

• Ensure HIPAA compliant handling, storage, and disposal of confidential documents and sensitive information

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company policies and procedures

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior office, administrative, mailroom, print services, shipping, or operational support experience preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel

• Ability to accurately process, track, and organize large volumes of documents and shipments

• Understanding of document management, shipping procedures, and administrative support functions

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Reliable attendance, accountability, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Healthcare industry experience

• Experience working in regulated environments with sensitive or confidential information

• Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and privacy standards

• Previous experience supporting high volume document processing or shipping operations
