Work Experience Description:
Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.
Position Scope
Reviews and analyzes various types of reports and data associated with the manager's area(s) of responsibility.
Utilizes word processing equipment and/or PC in the performance of assigned duties.
Relieves manager of as much operational detail as possible by performing various task-oriented duties.
Performs a diversity of customer service, office, and guest-related duties for the Guest Services manager.
Maintains guest services information, schedules, and policy information. Monitors guests' questions and complaints.
Required Qualifications:
Good communication and organization skills and abilities.
Able to speak, read and write fluently in English.
Know how to use a personal computer and be familiar with most of the following software programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to type 35 wpm net.
Previous work experience with the general public.
Must attach resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view).
