Staff Augmentation Technician

POSITION SUMMARY 

You will be providing Level I IT Support and Break/Fix resolution as well as installation of new equipment and services. This is an on-site role with coverage in Western Nassau County, NY. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor's degree in an IT related curriculum or related field experience 
• Proven Experience as a?Support Engineer?or relevant position 
• Ability to communicate effectively 
• Able to plan and execute projects efficiently, independently, and effectively. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
• Ability to take instruction. 
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills 
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems. 
• Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles. 
• Must be detail-oriented and able to keep impeccable documentation 
• Looking to grow and improve their skillset. 

• Laptop troubleshooting – significant knowledge of laptop hardware, as well as the ability to repair the device from top to bottom.  
• Desktop support – Latest Windows OS, ChromeOS, Misc. software, Microsoft Office 365, printing, troubleshooting skills especially Print Server communication, as well as significant hardware troubleshooting skills. 
• Server support – Legacy and latest Windows Server OS, Active Directory, group policy, printing, NTFS and share permissions, troubleshooting skills. 
• Active Directory – Users and Devices 
• Google Workspace Administration 
• Apple MDM (DEP, VPP) 
• Security is the main focus, making sure devices are up to date with patches, AV definitions, devices authorization, etc... 
• Ability to interface with vendors through email or voice call to schedule RMA for devices. 
• Print repair/troubleshooting – ability to troubleshoot and repair various printer models/makes
