The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified clinician to join the University Counseling Center (UCC) as Staff Clinician, Embedded Services in the School of Dental Medicine. The UCC is a department within the Division of Student Affairs and aligned under the Wellness Team consisting of Campus Recreation, Student Health Services, Financial Wellness, and Care and Resource Support departments. Accredited by the International Accreditation of Counseling Services (IACS) and American Psychological Association (APA), the UCC exists to ensure healthy and thriving lives for University of Pittsburgh's diverse student population by providing crisis intervention, outreach, workshops, group, individual, relationship/couples therapy, and specialized treatment teams to assist with disordered eating, gender affirmation, substance use, trauma, culturally responsive care, transition care, and dialectical behavior therapy. Consistent with the University and Division of Student Affairs' mission and values, members of the UCC team are committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility. As a staff with our own diverse identities-both visible and invisible- we seek to provide support that honor students' unique needs, concerns, and personhoods. The Staff Clinician, Embedded Services will provide direct and indirect services to students in the School of Dental Medicine including but not limited to, individual, relationship, and group psychotherapy, clinical consultation, outreach programming, and participate in supervision and training, as selected or assigned. The Staff Clinician will have the opportunity to serve on committees within and outside of the UCC.
