We are looking for a dedicated Staff Data Modeler like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsJob SummaryHCA Healthcare is looking for an experienced and innovative Staff Data Modeler to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data products on Google Cloud. In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights by creating robust architectures that integrate seamlessly into our enterprise ecosystem.The Staff Data Modeler will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with Data Product Owners to understand product requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, and design solutions that meet operational and analytical needs.This position requires a deep understanding of the architecture of business data source systems, their structures, communication protocols, and interfaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a mastery of data analysis, logical data modeling, and the ability to identify opportunities for data reuse and transformation. You will design data architectures that address gaps, optimize performance, and enforce enterprise standards in cybersecurity, governance, and compliance.As a key contributor to HCA's data strategy, you will also develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and evolving technology trends. technologies and business requirements.What qualifications you will need:Bachelor's degree Computer Science or a related field requiredMaster's degree Computer Science or a related field preferred7+ years of experience in data management, data products, or analytics requiredExtensive experience in designing data models for large-scale systemsExpertise in GCP architecture and BigQueryExpertise in SQL optimization and data modeling techniquesAbility to write, tune, and interpret SQL queries.Strong experience with version control systemsStrong ability to present complex technical concepts to leadershipExtensive experience in architecture, construction, and implementation of data-intensive solutionsStrong understanding of metadata management and data catalogingAdeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and applications quickly and manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyAbility to troubleshoot, maintain, reverse engineer and optimize existing ETL pipelines.Hands-on
