**Position Summary...** **What you'll do...** A Staff data scientist would be expected to play an important role in developing and scaling data science solutions in order to achieve outstanding business outcomes for Marketplace. + Workingtogether with a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop, implement, and test scalable solutions for marketing intelligence domain. + Consultwith business stakeholders across Marketplace functionsregardingalgorithm-based recommendations and be a thought-leader to develop these into business actions. + Mentorjunior members andIndividuallyexecute multiple projects at the same time. + Managethe continuous improvement of data science and machine learning led initiatives by following industry best practices and stayingup-to-datewith the state-of-the-art in data science research. + Excellentacademic or industrialtrack recordof proposing,conductingand reporting results of original research, plus collaborative research with publications. **Position Requirements** + Verygoodknowledge of the foundations of machine learning and statistics and has made significant original contributions to the area in practice. + Solidexperience working withstate-of-the-artagentic, Gen AI,supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms on real-world problems, preferably in ecommerce domain. + StrongPython coding skills and able to work with at least one other programming language such as Java/Scala. + Abilityto work in a big data ecosystem - expert in SQL/Hive and ability to work with Spark. + Extensiveexperience building and deployingstate of the artmodels (classic ML and Deep learning) + Strong ability to understand the business and good stakeholder management capabilities and has mentored data scientists in developing ML solutions. **Qualifications** PhD with > 6 years of experience / Master's degree with > 8 years of experience. Educational qualifications should be preferably in Computer Science or a related area. Experience should be relevant to the role.
