Staff Designer II

Experience: 6+ years, non-licensed architectural staff

Professional degree in architecture; 6+ years of experience. Intermediate-level staff assisting in design coordination, concept development, and presentation drawings with increased independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience with similar scope projects
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree; licensed or pursuing licensure
• Proven design knowledge in building types comparable to WDG's portfolio, master planning, codes, and zoning

Responsibilities

• Develop design documentation under supervision of Senior Architects and Designers
• Produce graphic presentations, study models, and client deliverables
• Maintain client and consultant communication with supervised independence
• Coordinate architectural and interior design integration, balancing functionality, proportions, material selection, and budget

Skillsets

• Extensive experience in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Enscape, Bluebeam, and MS Office
• Strong graphic presentation and communication skills
• Takes ownership of defined project portions and demonstrates team leadership
• Translates programmatic requirements into compelling, solution-oriented design concepts
