Staff Development Coordinator

What You’ll Do

Recruiting & Hiring

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, including caregivers, med techs, culinary team members, housekeeping, maintenance, and administrative roles
  • Create and post engaging job ads on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring managers, and guide candidates through the hiring process
  • Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS), hiring workflows, and recruitment communications
  • Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, open interviews, and community outreach efforts
  • Ensure compliance with background checks, onboarding documentation, and employment requirements

Onboarding & New Employee Training

  • Facilitate a warm, organized, and engaging onboarding experience for new team members
  • Teach New Employee Orientation and support pre-service training completion
  • Help new hires feel welcomed, prepared, and connected to our culture from day one
  • Track training compliance and maintain employee education records

Staff Development & Employee Engagement

  • Support employee growth through coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
  • Coordinate leadership development programs, scholarships, and continuing education resources
  • Help identify future leaders and support internal promotions
  • Organize team appreciation events, engagement activities, and recognition initiatives
  • Build strong relationships across departments and serve as a trusted resource for team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in full-cycle recruiting, staffing coordination, HR support, employee training, or talent acquisition
  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Experience leading orientations, trainings, or group facilitation preferred
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and applicant tracking systems
  • Passion for employee engagement, culture-building, and developing people
  • College degree preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
