Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Development Coordinator RN SDC to join our team at Highlands Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL. The successful candidate will work closely with our nursing staff to develop and implement training programs, improve patient outcomes, and advance our center's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive staff development programs, including orientation, training, and continuing education, to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with nursing staff to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives to address these gaps
• Design and deliver educational materials, such as training manuals, presentations, and workshops, to staff and patients
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff to support professional growth and development
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
• Foster a culture of excellence and accountability by promoting ongoing education, support, and recognition among nursing staff

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Alabama
• Minimum 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and staff performance

• Pay Range starts from: $30.00 to $43.50 Depending on experience. Shift Differential of $1.50 added for Evening Shift.
