We are seeking an enthusiastic Staff Engineer (E.I.T.) to join our civil engineering team. This position provides excellent mentorship and diverse project experience to support your professional development and progression toward P.E. licensure.Responsibilities Design streets, utilities, and stormwater systems per local and state standardsRun hydrology/hydraulic calculations for stormwater managementUtilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting, grading, and earthwork calculationsGenerate submittal packages for land use applicationsPrepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documentsConduct field visits for site verification and construction observationEngage with clients, agencies, and stakeholdersPerform plan reviews for technical accuracySupport senior engineers throughout all project phasesParticipate in client meetings and project coordination callsRequirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program requiredEngineer Intern (E.I.T.) certification required, or ability to obtain within 6 months0-5 years of civil engineering experience (new graduates welcome)Working knowledge of civil engineering principles and design standardsIntermediate proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsEagerness to learn and develop professionallyValid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications Prior internship or co-op experience in civil engineeringFamiliarity with stormwater management principlesKnowledge of local agency design standardsExperience with HydroCAD, StormCAD, or similar analysis software#J-18808-Ljbffr
