End Date: 08/31/2027\n \nOne-year temp-to-hire role\n \nLocation: Onsite 5 days/week- Rancho Cordova, CA\n \nDuties:\n \nElectrical Engineer - Hydro Plants\n \nTemp-to-perm with the right candidate\n\n Function in an engineering capacity.\n Develop and modify technical deliverables associated with modifications and upgrades on exsiting hydroelectric generating plants.\n With minimal supervision, applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses. Continues building on knowledge to develop concepts and approach more complex engineering problems. .\n \nSkills:\n\n Minimum 5 yrs Experience in hydro or fossil power generation plant design.\n Familiarity with NFPA 70.\n Familiarity with California Electrical Code.\n Experience with power system analysis software such as SKM or ETAP is a plus.\n Bluebeam\n PE license preferred\n \nContinues developing knowledge and may provide guidance and direction on design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and policies.\n \nProvides technical guidance to others regarding projects and disciplines.\n \nIndependently applies knowledge and complies with quality program relative to assigned tasks.\n \nPrepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects.\n \nPerforms complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.\n \nPrepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.\n \nManages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.\n \nIndependently applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis problems and methods.\n \nActively delegates appropriate tasks to lower-level team members to develop depth of project execution staff. Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignments.\n \nIs responsible for one or more of the following: leading production teams; coordinating multiple discipline activity; and serving as the responsible charge for a project.\n \nActively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects. Responsible for assisting with identification of key client interests and drivers on low to moderately complex projects.\n \nMay design a complete project of moderately complex scope or support multiple projects on complex technical challenges.\n \nEducation:\n\n Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from either a recognised accredited program. \n Minimum of 5 years of related work experience. \n PE license preferred.\n\n
