    Job Description

Join a major advanced manufacturing project and take a leading role in developing the fire protection infrastructure for a new, high-volume semiconductor facility. This opportunity offers involvement across the full project lifecycle—from design and construction through commissioning, start-up, and ongoing operations.

    What You’ll Do

    • Partner with consultants and contractors to ensure fire protection systems meet design requirements and specifications.

    • Review drawings, equipment submittals, and construction progress.

    • Support commissioning, functional testing, system validation, and facility start-up.

    • Oversee fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression systems, clean-agent systems, and life-safety integration.

    • Troubleshoot construction and operational issues and implement practical solutions.

    • Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, local fire regulations, ISO standards, and corporate safety requirements.

    • Support capacity planning, system evaluations, maintenance, inspections, audits, and emergency drills.

    • Lead improvement initiatives through capital and operating-expense projects.

    • Maintain accurate operating procedures, manuals, and system documentation.

    • Provide on-call support within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

    • At least eight years of fire protection design and operational experience, ideally within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.

    • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, life-safety standards, suppression systems, sprinklers, fire alarms, and alarm integration.

    • Experience supporting facility design, construction, commissioning, and start-up.

    • Ability to interpret fire protection drawings and technical specifications.

    • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

    • PE license or NICET Fire Protection certification is preferred.

The role initially supports projects in Tempe and Peoria before transitioning primarily to the Peoria facility during operations.
