    Job TitleStaff Engineer I - GRCLocationBlock 23What you'll doAs an IT Staff Engineer I, you will support and enhance the organization's Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) technology platforms, applying strong mid-level engineering expertise. You will identify development and support needs, contribute to solution design, and support project delivery while facilitating collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate is an outcome-focused technologist with a strong data and engineering mindset who promotes teamwork and effective communication.Independently manage assigned workstreams from concept through completion with minimal supervision.Administer and support enterprise GRC platforms, including configuration, customization, upgrades, and ongoing optimization to meet business and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GRC platforms with enterprise applications, databases, and data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Provide user support, training, and documentation to promote effective adoption of GRC platforms.Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive improvements in GRC processes and systems.Facilitate technical dialogue, reviews, and collaboration across delivery teams while supporting architectural and governance standards.What you'll need5+ years of development and/or implementation experience for enterprise applications in Java, Java Script frameworks (VueJS/React), SQL, PostgreSQL.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in managing and supporting Governance, Risk, and Controls platforms.Familiarity with IT security, data privacy, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, and CI/CD or DevOps toolchains preferred.Knowledge of GRC frameworks such as COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, or similar preferred.Hands‑on experience configuring and customizing GRC platforms (e.g., SAI360, RSA Archer, SAP GRC) preferred.Knowledge of ETL concepts and large-scale data integration across systems preferred.Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy preferred.Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.May require up to 25% travel.Benefits you'll loveWe offer all the important things you'd want - like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program.
