STAFF ENGINEEROur West Palm Beach office has an opportunity for staff engineer to work on a wide range of geotechnical engineering, construction material testing/quality control, and environmental assessment projects including planning and supervising field and laboratory testing, conducting geotechnical analyses, developing design and construction recommendations, writing reports and performing site reconnaissance, field testing and monitoring. The goal for this position is for the right candidate to work primarily in the construction material testing/quality control department. That would entail site kick‑off meetings at the beginning of construction projects and monitoring activities (such as installation of augercast piles, helical piers, ground modification, driven piles, vibration monitoring, etc.) and writing the certification report for those activities to be reviewed and signed by a PE. You will also have the opportunity to learn and work on geotechnical engineering projects (drilling coordination, soil classification, report preparation, foundation design, etc.) as well as environmental assessments (Phase I and Phase II assessments).QualificationsThe successful candidate will be technically superior and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with relevant coursework and achieved Engineering Intern (EI) status.
