The Staff Engineering Technician supports water and wastewater projects by preparing and modifying civil design drawings and technical deliverables. This role focuses on site drainage, grading, and utility plan development using Autodesk Civil 3D and works closely with engineers and designers to deliver accurate, high-quality project documentation.Key Responsibilities Develop and modify civil engineering drawings and deliverables under general supervisionPrepare site grading, drainage, and utility plans using Civil 3D and related design toolsApply established engineering standards, codes, and company proceduresPerform design calculations, material quantities, and basic estimatesReview drawings for accuracy, consistency, and quality complianceCoordinate with design teams and other disciplines to support project deliveryProvide technical guidance to junior technicians as neededSupport field or project coordination activities when requiredRequired Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in civil design or engineering technician rolesAdvanced Autodesk Civil 3D experience (pipe/pressure networks, grading, plan & profile)Strong knowledge of plan & profile drawings, alignments, and utility layoutsProficiency in AutoCAD and BluebeamAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsFamiliarity with engineering standards, construction practices, and quality proceduresEducation Associate Degree in Drafting, Engineering Design Technology, or a related field (preferred)GAS Global Services LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
