Our client is a consumer goods manufacturer that is looking to bring on a Staff Environmental Engineer to its Plant and facilities Engineering Department. This role will be responsible for overseeing environmental programs and provide both management and technical support across all clients facilities, properties, and utilities, specifically for programs such as Stormwater Management and Wastewater Treatment.

Lead and sustain the clients Environmental Management Program the Lehigh Valley area
Ensure regulatory compliance and manage permits for air quality, stormwater, wastewater, and SPCC/PPC programs.
Oversee inspections, reporting, and environmental performance metrics.
Design and support pollution control systems and maintain accurate environmental records.
Liaise with regulatory agencies and maintain operational licenses (boilers, x-ray devices, elevators, groundwater wells).
Oversee sustainability initiatives, recycling programs, and vendor agreements.



Bachelor"s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering field
7+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of PA DEP and EPA regulations (Air Quality, Stormwater, Wastewater, SPCC/PPC)
Experience with environmental sampling, monitoring, and permit compliance
Familiarity with EPCRA, RCRA, greenhouse gas reporting, and related programs
Ability to interpret lab reports; basic chemistry and biology knowledge
Willing to conduct regular facility visits
