We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.What you'll do:Prepare development, Company, and FAA Certification Ground and Flight test plansPrepare Flight Test Cards and assemble flight decks for approval and useRun flight decks in sims with flight crew for optimizationParticipate in all aspects of the Flight Test Safety Risk Management processPrepare test operating limitations and advisories in collaboration with the appropriate engineering disciplinesMentor Jr. engineers in Flight Test processesCollaborate closely with engineering, certification, and quality teams to ensure test objectives are clearly defined and achievedMonitor and document test article configuration, maintenance activities, and modifications during test campaignsParticipate in safety risk management activities and help maintain compliance with applicable safety standardsHelp maintain flight test instrumentation and data acquisition systems, supporting accurate data collectionWhat you need:Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in flight test operations, aerospace testing, or a related technical roleStrong knowledge of airworthiness certification flight test programs and regulatory requirementsExperience with safety risk management processes related to flight testing or complex operational testingProficiency in configuration management and planning/executing ground and flight tests within certification or military projectsProven experience leading multidisciplinary teams or organizations within a test or development environmentExceptional collaboration and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with an strong attention to detailAble to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPlease note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualificationsAt Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
