Verdantas is seeking a Staff Hydrogeologist I for our Toledo, Ohio, office.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples, oversee drilling operations, install groundwater monitoring wells, and collect groundwater-related data; oversee soil vapor investigations
- Analysis of basic hydrogeological data using various techniques
- Prepare detailed reports and maps to present findings and recommendations
- Monitor groundwater levels and quality, and assess the impact of human activities on groundwater resources
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
- Provide technical support for groundwater remediation and water resource management projects
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
- 0-3 years of experience
- Knowledge of groundwater and soil vapor principles and environmental regulations
- Ability to use field equipment and interpret basic hydrogeologic data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration
- Generally work in both office and field settings
- May require frequent travel to various field sites
- May involve exposure to varying weather conditions and rough terrain
- May involve occasional lifting of equipment and materials
Salary Range:
$54,000.00 - $62,000.00
