Seeking a Backend Engineer with a Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with expertise in Python or TypeScript, and proven experience designing scalable backend systems.
Deep understanding of system design, architecture, patterns, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization is essential.
Familiarity with frontend technologies like ReactJS, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3 is preferred for cross-stack collaboration.
Strong communication, ownership mindset, and passion for high-impact ecommerce platforms are required.
Nice-to-have skills include DynamoDB, ecommerce domain experience (cart, checkout, payments), and integration with payment providers.
Responsibilities include leading backend architecture, building scalable services, making architectural decisions, coding, reviewing, collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring, and managing production deployments and incident resolution.
