IDR is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid onsite opportunity. This role supports the stable operation of complex network systems within a healthcare environment, including planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software. The ideal candidates will provide technical leadership, support 24/7 on-call rotations, and ensure network availability and security.
Position Overview for the Staff Network Engineer:
- Support the stable operation of the in-house computer network (LAN/WAN).
- Plan, install, configure, and optimize all network hardware, software, and communication links.
- Diagnose, resolve, and document network problems and solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to peers and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Operate with minimal oversight in a senior-level capacity, designing and developing network solutions.
Requirements for the Staff Network Engineer:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information management, or engineering, or four (4) years of experience in a network engineering-related field.
- Two to Four (2-4) years of networking experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent skill set.
- Demonstrated working technical knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wireless networking.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with strong troubleshooting skills.
