UPMC McKeesport is seeking a Full-Time Staff Nurse to join our 3M Medical/Surgical Unit, an inpatient team that prioritizes collaboration, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.
This position includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Position Summary
The Staff Nurse (RN or GN is a key member of the care delivery team, responsible for setting and maintaining high standards of patient care.
This role includes accountability for clinical decision-making, care coordination, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Staff Nurse supports patients and families across the care continuum while developing leadership and professional practice skills.

- Completion of UPMC student nurse internship or student clinical transitions course at UPMC preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN.
- Temporary Practice Permit (TPP. Graduate Nurses must complete the licensure examination within 6 months of hire or within one year of graduation- whichever comes first. UPMC requires that GNs take the licensure examination within 6 months of their start date, or they will be terminated or demoted from the GN position, at the discretion of the BU.
- UPMC-approved national certification is preferred.
- NIH Certification will be required within 6 months of hire.
- CPR is required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR.
- Act 33, 34, and 73 with renewal.
