Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse District Nursing within our North Ayrshire District Nursing teams based at Bourtreehill Health Centre.
Hours and Shift Pattern:
22.2 hours per week
Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment
This post is offered on a permanent basis.
What you will do:
Working as a Staff Nurse District Nursing within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership you will have experience as a qualified registered nurse and be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing programmes of care for a variety of client groups within the community.
You will be responsible for the management of the caseload in the absence of the district nursing Charge Nurse including the supervision and redeployment of staff.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Professional qualification in nursing - essential.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative, and a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community.
You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
