Staff Perfusionist

We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate with a positive attitude who must be Board Certified (ABCP) or eligible with at least 0-5 years of experience as a practicing Clinical Perfusionist for an established heart program in Tavares, Florida. New grads may be considered. 

Epic Cardiovascular (Perfusion.com) currently has a staff perfusionist opening at in Tavares, FL. This program was established in 2011 and has grown significantly every year since its inception. There is also a very respected and successful ECMO program and a TAVR practice. If you are looking to move to the sunshine state, there's no better opportunity than this one at a growing heart surgery program with efficient and excellent surgeons.

Epic occupies a unique position in the industry, offering ample opportunity for professional growth through its diverse business approach. The candidate would be joining a total team of 4 perfusionists and 1 PBMT in Tavares, FL (North or Orlando area) performing about 400 cardiac procedures per year.

***Candidate must have graduated from an accredited American school and be American Board certified (CCP) or CCP eligible.​​​***

Candidates should also possess the following:

1. Ability to adapt to a challenging clinical environment.
2. Must possess good communication and troubleshooting skills.
3. Must be able to practice evidence based medicine; also to advise and participate in clinical decisions with a team approach.
4. Experience with blood management is preferred.
5. Must be willing to relocate to Tavares, FL or the immediate surrounding area.
6. Must enjoy working with fast, talented surgeons.

Estimated Compensation Range:

$145,000 – $185,000+ per year based on skills, experience and possible bonus opportunities
