Join our dynamic healthcare team as a temporary full time or part time Staff Pharmacist, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and safety. Duties

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication plans, ensuring effective pain management, immunizations, and medical management strategies.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently
  • Utilize pharmacy software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document patient interactions, medication administration, and inventory levels.
  • Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and health management strategies while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards such as aseptic technique and physiology knowledge.

Requirements

  • Valid pharmacist license in KS
  • Proven experience in pharmacy practice
  • Strong clinical pharmacy background
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software systems Pioneer RX, and inventory management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments, medication reconciliation and patient consultations
  • Experience working with pharmacy technicians and supporting interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
