A retail pharmacy is seeking a part-time staff pharmacist to work an essential role within their team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic retail setting with consistent weekday hours.
Location:
Coraopolis, PA (near Pittsburgh)
Schedule/Hours:
- 20-24 hours per week
- Coverage for vacation periods
- Shift options: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Pharmacy open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; closed weekends
- Peak business hours typically from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:- Accurately dispense approximately 300 prescriptions daily
- Provide exceptional patient counseling and medication therapy management
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication use
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards
- Utilize Pioneer Rx system for prescription processing and documentation
Qualifications / Desired Experience:- Previous retail pharmacy experience is required
- Familiarity with Pioneer Rx is a strong plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively during peak hours and manage workload efficiently
