Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

Location: 19 Chapin Road, Building D, Pine Brook, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: 60/hr (Paid Weekly)
Contract: 07/13/2026 to 09/18/2026 (HM will consider perm placement if right canidate is selected)
Allmed Benefits: Vision, Dental, Health Insurance and 401(k)
On-Call Rotation: Optional flexibility for after-hours and on-call coverage (preferred)
On-Call Compensation:

  • Monday – Thursday: $25/day
  • Friday – Sunday: $75/day

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and clinically driven Staff Pharmacist to support patient care within a home infusion pharmacy setting. This role is responsible for managing patient therapy, processing medication orders, conducting clinical assessments, reviewing drug interactions, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of medications prepared for dispensing. The Staff Pharmacist will work closely with physicians, patients, pharmacy technicians, and leadership to provide exceptional care and maintain continuity of service.

Team Environment:
The Staff Pharmacist will work alongside another pharmacist, two pharmacy technicians, and the General Manager. The team maintains a close-knit, supportive, and approachable culture focused on quality care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with physicians to obtain, clarify, and process medication orders
  • Coordinate with physician offices and patients regarding continuation of care, discharge planning, and ongoing service needs
  • Conduct patient assessments for clinical management and therapy continuation
  • Process medication orders and delivery tickets for ongoing treatment needs
  • Review and verify final compounded products prepared by pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance with physician orders
  • Evaluate drug interactions, therapy appropriateness, and patient safety concerns
  • Provide clinical oversight and ensure adherence to pharmacy best practices
  • Document patient care activities accurately and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Support quality assurance and operational workflow within the pharmacy

Required Qualifications:

  • Active New Jersey Board of Pharmacy (NJ BOP) Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to think critically and make sound patient care decisions
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently following training
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in home infusion pharmacy
  • Experience using CPR+ operating system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to navigate multiple software platforms
