Staff Pharmacist (Remote)

Join a growing, innovative pharmacy team focused on making medications more accessible, affordable, and convenient for patients nationwide. We"re seeking a Staff Pharmacist to conduct Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs), ensure medication safety, and support a high-quality pharmacy operation.

What You"ll Do

• Review and evaluate prescriptions for accuracy, safety, dosing, and drug interactions
• Perform clinical Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR)
• Provide guidance to patients, providers, and pharmacy staff
• Support automated pharmacy systems and troubleshoot workflow issues
• Ensure compliance with DEA, state, and federal pharmacy regulations
• Investigate and resolve medication-related concerns and errors
• Maintain accurate documentation and controlled substance records

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in your state
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Experience with pharmacy systems and technology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred

• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Prior authorization or utilization review experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
