In this role,youllevaluate medication orders,participatein the preparation and distribution of medicationsincluding chemotherapy and infusionsand provide guidance to patients and healthcare staff. Youllalso take a leadership role during urgent situations and help enforce hospital pharmacy policies in compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Evaluate inpatient medication orders for appropriateness and safety Prepare, compound, label, and dispense medications, including IVs and chemotherapy Provideclear medication guidance to staff and patients Respond to emergencies and support clinical teams with medication decisions Follow state, federal, and hospital pharmacy policies and procedures Collaborative Teamwork This role requires active participation in a collaborative healthcare environment, working with nurses, providers, and fellow pharmacists to support safe, effective patient care.
