Salary: Staff 190k-215K; Principal 215k-240k

Job Description
The Staff Product Manager will lead product strategy and roadmap for enterprise communications across SMS, email, push notifications, voice, mobile applications, and conversational AI.
This person will work closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to bring together a fragmented communications environment and establish a more coordinated and scalable approach. The role will also help advance conversational AI, automated student support, communication preferences, and better tracking and orchestration of student communications.
This is a hands-on product leadership role requiring someone who can operate strategically while also managing priorities, backlogs, and execution.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Product Management or Product Owner experience in highly technical environments.
• Experience with enterprise or omnichannel communications across SMS, email, push notifications, voice, mobile, or similar channels.
• Experience consolidating fragmented platforms, systems, or processes into scalable solutions.
• Strong product management experience across strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, backlog management, and execution.
• Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, automated communications, or AI-enabled self-service.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, service-oriented architecture, cloud systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience defining success metrics and using data to guide product decisions.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, architecture, executives, and nontechnical business teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to turn strategy into execution.
• Experience with Genesys, NICE CXone, Braze, Airship, Salesforce, Oracle, or similar enterprise communications platforms.

• Experience with preference centers, communication tracking, customer identity, consent management, or multi-system data orchestration.
• Experience evaluating communication platforms and making build, buy, or consolidation decisions.
• Experience in financially accountable product roles.
• Pragmatic Marketing training.
• Experience mentoring other Product Managers and helping improve product management practices.
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively across multiple business units.
