Job Summary/Basic Function

This is a full-time, 10 month clinical position that consists of providing individual and group therapy, crisis services, consultation, and regular coverage for Open Hours. In addition to these clinical responsibilities, Staff Psychologists provide outreach programming on campus, perform supervisory and administrative tasks as needed, and engage in collaboration with other staff and faculty at Dickinson (e.g., through committee work, planning workshops and events, etc.).

Essential Functions:

  • Provides individual and group counselling to students.
  • Documents all clinical services in the electronic health records system.
  • Provides diagnostics and substance abuse services for students.
  • Provides on-call psychological crisis management for students.
  • Provides daytime psychological crisis management for students.
  • Provides outreach education, training and consultation regarding wellness to the campus community.

Requirements:

Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology

Licensed as a psychologist in Pennsylvania within the first year of employment

1-3 Years Work Experience
