Staff Qualification Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
• 9+ years of experience working in aerospace certification, testing, or quality assurance roles
• Experience working in an AS9100 quality environment
• Strong familiarity with FAA Part 25 and EASA CS Part 25 regulations related to airborne equipment
• In-depth knowledge of RTCA standards and airframe qualification requirements
• Knowledge of electrical testing procedures, EMI testing, vibration, pressure, and temperature chambers
• Experience with aerospace certification processes such as FAA/OEM data packages, FRACA/RCCA corrective actions
• Familiarity with MIL-STD and RTCA standards, aerospace environmental testing, and aerospace industry safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute certification and qualification test plans in accordance with FAA, EASA, and industry standards
• Perform EMI, environmental, vibration, shock, and structural testing on aerospace components and systems
• Collaborate closely with OEMs, certification authorities, and internal teams to ensure compliance with certification requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and certification data packages
• Support the resolution of certification issues through corrective actions and technical assessments
