POSITION SUMMARY:
Produces radiographic and diagnostic studies using a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical supervision of a Radiologist. Evaluates quality of radiographic images. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required: • Completion of formal Radiology program • ARRT certified or obtained within 6 months • BCLS certified
Preferred: • Associate Degree in radiography
ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and technical practice relevant to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Incumbent must demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures before being allowed to perform independently.
