Staff Relations Manager Support - Temporary

Compensation Range

$45.00 - $50.00 / Hour

Position Overview:

Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.

As the Temporary Staff Relations Manager Support, you will play a key role in supporting The Cheesecake Factory's Staff Relations function by conducting interviews and analyzing findings related to workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, and other employee concerns. You will draft, review, and refine investigation reports, policies, and other compliance-related documentation through EthicsPoint while providing guidance and support to Operations as needed.

Reporting to the Senior Staff Relations Manager, you will work as part of a dynamic team at our Calabasas Hills, CA Support Center and help ensure Staff Relations support is available during evenings, weekends, and other non-business hours.

• Conduct Thorough Investigations: Support the Staff Relations team by conducting comprehensive investigations into workplace concerns, ensuring a fair and impartial process.
• Effective Interviewing: Facilitate structured and objective interviews with both managers and staff members to gather relevant information and assess concerns.
• Address Staff Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries and complaints, providing guidance and resolution in alignment with company policies and best practices.
• Documentation & Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of both informal inquiries and formal investigations, maintaining compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Culture & Standards Compliance: Assist in fostering and upholding company culture, values, and workplace expectations through proactive engagement and policy enforcement.
• EthicsPoint Case Management: Accurately input case notes, upload relevant attachments, and maintain comprehensive case records within the EthicsPoint system.
• Timely Case Resolution: Ensure cases are processed efficiently and closed within appropriate timeframes to support a responsive and effective Staff Relations function.
• Professionalism & Confidentiality: Exhibit the highest level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters and confidential information.

What we require:

• 3+ years of experience in workplace investigations.
• Human Resources practices and experience.
• Basic knowledge of employment law.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must possess the ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Must be a team player.

What we prefer:

• HR Leadership role over more 2 or more functions.
• PHR/SPHR preferred.
• HR Experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
• Bilingual in Spanish
