Title: Staff Software Engineer

Location: 800 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, WA 98004

Duties: Design, code, test, and develop features to support large-scale data processing pipelines, for our multi-cloud SaaS platform with good quality, maintainability, and end-to-end ownership. Define and leverage data models to understand cost drivers, to create concrete action plans that address platform concerns on data. Develop highly efficient code that scales to thousands of active users by minimizing operational costs. Work with all aspects of high throughput, distributed and multi-tenant services. Collaborate with team members to plan, architect, implement and deliver new features and experiences. Work with peer managers across the team to continuously improve engineering process and technical capabilities.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related technical field plus at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer or in a related position performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience with the following: building and shipping production grade software systems or services, with Distributed Systems, large-scale data processing, data storage, Information Retrieval Data Mining, or Machine Learning fundamentals; building and operating online services and fault-tolerant distributed systems at internet scale; shipping software, internet scale services using GraphQL/REST API(s) on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services(AWS) cloud; writing code in C++/C#/Java using agile and test-driving development (TDD); cloud service development including Azure or AWS services; and building cloud-scale infrastructure components; cloud scale distributed design and patte

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $212,202 to $220,000/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
