The Opportunity
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to be a core member of our Product Engineering team-writing code every day while driving architecture decisions mentoring senior engineers and partnering with Product and Clinical teams to build software that directly improves patient outcomes.
What Youll Do
• Own and drive architecture decisions across our stack setting patterns the whole team builds on • Lead complex ambiguous product challenges end-to-end-from technical design through shipping to end users • Mentor other engineers through code reviews design feedback and pairing • Partner with Product Design and Clinical teams to translate clinical workflows into scalable solutions • Identify and drive improvements to technical debt reliability and developer experience • Champion AI tools in your daily workflow and help establish team-wide best practices

Requirements
8 years of full-stack engineering experience shipping complex features in production systems Demonstrated track record leading technical initiatives that span multiple teams or systems Extensive experience with 0-1 builds Proficient with AI coding tools as part of daily development Strong communicator who can align stakeholders around technical decisions Passion for improving mental healthcare
Nice To Haves
HIPAA-regulated healthcare or fintech experience AIML integration in production Based in San Francisco and able to go into the office 2 days per week 200,000 - 240,000 a year Depending on experience. The reasonably estimated national salary range for this position is between 200,000-240,000 per year plus an equity package for eligible employees. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidates experience and local cost of labor.
