R. Joe Harris & Associates, Inc. is looking for a Staff Surveyor to join our land surveying team and support the preparation of accurate, dependable surveying information for land development and civil site design projects.What You'll DoAssist Professional Land Surveyors with boundary, topographic, ALTA, construction, and other land surveying projects.Assist with the preparation of survey information used for grading plans, utilities, stormwater systems, roadway designs, and other civil site plans.Review field data and survey information for completeness and accuracy.Develop and maintain a knowledge of field surveying methods and equipment to better understand, interpret, and process field data.Support the PLS throughout the surveying process and take on increasing responsibility as technical knowledge and experience develop.What We're Looking ForSIT or RLS/PLS in North or South Carolina.Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field.2+ years of experience in land surveying, ideally with land development and civil site design projects.Proficiency in surveying technology, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GPS/GNSS systems.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders.Why Join UsWork on impactful land development projects that shape communities.Collaborative environment where surveyors and engineers work hand-in-hand.Competitive compensation and full benefits package (health insurance, PTO, and more).Opportunities for professional growth and development.
