General Summary: The Staff UX/UI Designer will be responsible for hands-on product design for the look-and-feel, and workflow of Qualcomm's AI Software tool suite. Work willinclude collaborating closely with Qualcomm's UX and engineering teams and will focus on extending a set of design principals and artifacts used to construct the user experience of Qualcomm's AI tools. Work products will include design mock-ups, reviews and feedback of prototypes, development of UX assets such as color palettes, icons, symbols and other graphical elements. In addition, ideas for new tool features, workflows and design input to make the tools robust and easy to use.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with project managers, design, engineering, and quality assurance
2. Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch
3. Identify and execute the best methods for user research and testing within client constraints
4. Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
5. Marketing analytics implementation and operations
6. Agile based, design-thinking, user-centric, empirical projects that accelerate results

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of specialized design experience in UI, UX and Software Product Design in a consulting or in-house environment
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience in the business development process, planning for and delivering complex digital experience projects
• Experience in UX research, including planning, designing, and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings, and articulating results
• Experience in UX design, including information architecture, user and screen flows, conceptual and detailed wireframing and prototyping
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay range: $134,000.00 - $201,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
