Angell West is growing, and we are excited to add a board-certified or residency-trained veterinary ophthalmologist to our team as we move into our new, larger hospital in Waltham, Massachusetts.

This is a newly created position and an exciting opportunity to join a growing specialty practice at an important time in our development.  The move to this larger facility will allow us to expand our services, strengthen our specialty team, and provide even greater resources for our patients, clients, and referring veterinarians.

Our current team includes two criticalists, two internists, a surgeon, a cardiologist, an avian and exotics specialist, eight experienced emergency doctors, and rotating specialists from Boston.

Our new hospital will be equipped with:

• Digital radiography
• Ultrasound
• Endoscopy
• In-house laboratory equipment
• Telemetry
• Three surgical suites

Our doctors also have access to the extensive resources of Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston and work closely with colleagues across specialties to provide the highest quality patient and client care in a seamless environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ophthalmologist who enjoys working collaboratively with emergency clinicians, internists, surgeons, criticalists, and other specialists. You will have the opportunity to help develop and grow ophthalmology services within our new hospital while being supported by an experienced and highly collaborative medical team.

We are looking for a veterinarian who is:

• Board-certified in veterinary ophthalmology or residency trained
