We are looking for a compassionate Staffing and Training Coordinator to join our Long Term Care team. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.

Shift:

• Full-Time - 6:30a-3p (Days)
• Alternating Role of Staffing Coordinator one week and working on the floor the next.
• 80 hours every two weeks
• Willing to fill in if we have a call in during the week of Staffing Coordinator duties. 
• On-call only required during the week of Staffing Coordinator duties. 
• THIS POSITION CAN BE FILLED WITH A C.N.A, CMT OR LPN.

Principle Accountabilities and Essential Duties of the Job:

• Develops and maintains employee schedules utilizing current scheduling software
• Ensures staffing needs are met
• Reconciles staffing needs based on budget approved positions 
• Assists with employee training and skills validations
• Encourages team communication
• Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices
• Able to provide direct care to residents in time of staff absences if needed
• Identifies areas for staff training or skills competency
• Serves as a clinical expert for staff assistance and support
• Supervises staff to ensure quality care  and compliance to current policy and procedure
