We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Branch Manager who enjoys leading a team, building customer relationships, and growing a business.
This is not a desk-only management position. The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the branch and plays an active role in both daily operations and business development. You’ll lead your team, support customers and employees, build relationships in the local market, and help drive branch growth and profitability.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the branch
- Coach, train, and develop branch team members
- Build a positive, accountable, and results-driven team environment
- Develop relationships with current and prospective customers
- Make outbound sales calls and conduct in-person visits to generate new business
- Identify customer needs and recommend staffing solutions
- Follow up with leads, prospects, and existing customers to grow the branch
- Monitor branch performance, sales activity, customer satisfaction, and key financial metrics
- Manage payroll and timesheet approval processes
- Support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce needs
- Help ensure employees are matched with appropriate assignments
- Respond to customer, employee, and vendor concerns when escalated
- Maintain branch compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Promote workplace safety and support job-site safety expectations
- Manage branch expenses, profitability, revenue goals, and overall performance
- Balance operational responsibilities with consistent sales and business-development activity
- Recognize team accomplishments and identify opportunities for continued improvement
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable leading from the front. You should be able to manage a team while also being willing to make sales calls, visit businesses, meet customers, and help with daily operations when needed.

- Strong leadership and team-development skills
- Sales or business-development experience
- Confidence making outbound calls and approaching prospective customers
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence handling customer concerns, objections, and negotiations
- Ability to identify customer needs and develop solutions
- Basic financial and mathematical skills
- Ability to understand business performance, budgets, and profitability
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- General computer proficiency
- Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
- A valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to customer and job sites as needed
Sales & Business Development
Business development is an important part of this role. The Branch Manager should be comfortable:
- Making regular outbound sales calls
- Conducting cold stops and in-person business visits
- Networking within the local market
- Identifying and qualifying prospective customers
- Asking discovery questions to understand customer needs
- Presenting services and pricing
- Handling objections and negotiating opportunities
- Building long-term customer relationships
- Following up consistently to move opportunities forward
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Previous leadership, staffing, sales, customer service, or business-development experience preferred
Physical & Travel Requirements
This position may require regular sitting, standing, walking, and visiting customer or job-site locations. Candidates should be able to lift or move approximately 20–50 lbs. when necessary.
