Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia senior community, is hiring a Staffing Coordinator to join our team! Join our team where your clinical skills, compassion, and commitment to quality care are truly valued. As a Staffing Coordinator at Lake Ridge Care Center, you will organize and schedule appropriate clinical department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts.  The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized Staffing Coordinator with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a 32-40/hours per week and every 5th week on-call for staffing related needs.

Shifts Available: 
Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Mondays - Fridays

Wage Range: $24.93 - $28.70 / hour depending on experience

Location: 310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313

Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Work with the DON to maintain and schedule staffing levels for the nursing department; update shift replacements.
  • Approve shifts and ensure all shifts are covered by texting/calling employees.
  • Assist in finding coverage for open shifts.
  • Interview candidates for open CNA positions.
  • Track continuing educational programs for staff.
  • Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years prior staffing/scheduling experience highly preferred.
  • Must have flexibility in scheduling including on-call hours.
  • Prefer formal post high school education (diploma/ associate's degree or higher)
  • Experience with scheduling teams of 100 people or more. 
  • Computer skills including, MS Office (Excel, Outlook, M365, Teams, and Word) experience.
  • Able to think creatively and have a basic understanding of the roles of nurses, nursing assistants and TMAs in a nursing home.
  • Thrives in high pressure situations and fast moving/changing environments.
  • Demonstrates the willingness to leave the office to connect with staff.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
