As a Staffing Coordinator for Nursing Services, you will play a vital role in the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional nursing employees. Please note: This is an operations and scheduling role within the nursing department, distinct from Human Resources. While you will coordinate closely with HR regarding updates and compliance, your primary focus is master scheduling, call out management and nursing workforce logistics. Responsibilities:

• Establish staff schedules and patterns for nurses and nursing assistants
• Work with Director of Nursing and human resources to advise on staffing needs, terminations, and other important employee information
• Interpret human resource policies for nursing staff
• Participate in in-service training
• Assist in securing staff for absences, leaves, and adjusting schedules as needed
• Maintain records on employee absences, vacations, and leaves
• Work with the Director of Nursing to schedule training classes

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Scheduling program (SmartLinx) experience preferred
• Knowledge of AHCA Regulations required
• Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure staffing requirements are met for the facility

Competitive hourly rate: $21 - $24 HOURLY

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening in accordance with state regulations.
